Kanakuk Kamps

Deacon and Bo went to Kanakuk Kamps this summer. Wow, what an experience and what a special place! Now I can't say anything without them saying a chant of some sort. My sister teased that they went to cheerleading camp. ;)

 Picking the boys up was the best!!! I never realized how much I would miss them in a week. Deacon was awarded the Faith on Fire award for Spiritual Faithfulness. His counselors said he was "adaptable & respectful." Bo got the I'm Third award for putting God 1st, Others 2nd & I'm 3rd. His counselors called him "determined & thoughtful". Bo also won the Hero award for his TeePee, being a hero, the most like Christ. We loved our Kamp experience and can't wait for next summer!
