Dwain just got my porch swing hung... this is now my favorite place on Earth! I'm excited for all the hours I will get to swing and visit. Come join me for a talk!!! Thanks Mom and Dad and Dwain.

Weekend at Eldon

For Father's Day we went to Dwain's parents' home in Eldon. The boys went a few days before us and had fun fishing and eating great food! They always get creative and that's why you see the pillowcase race!

4th of July

I always wanted a house I could decorate with flags for the 4th so here it is! Yeah, I love this time of year and I am so proud of our country and those who serve us!

The Fisherman

Deacon went fishing with friends and caught a 3lb bass.

Champions

Bo's team played in a tourney today and won! His buddy Hunter also played in a tourney the same day and won. By the end of the day the champions were pooped!

Jake's 1st Baseball Game

After years of watching his brothers, it's finally Jake's turn! He is playing in Bolivar at the YMCA. His first AB he got a hit and an RBI! Go Jake! After the game he was telling Deacon (who was in Springfield at his own game) the important details... "I got a hit, I did a great job, AND EVEN WE GOT POWERADE AFTER THE GAME!"

Joe the Plumber

Last week I got to attend a political rally with none other than Joe the Plumber. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_the_Plumber Our friend, Mike Parson, is running for State Senate and he is so great to introduce us to cool people... he's the one that got me Sarah Palin tickets :)!!!

Joe was very much like you would expect, friendly, personable, laid back, and smoking a cigarette. We had a great conversation with him, he said he feels like education in politics is so important, that people will make the right decision if they are educated... I agree!!!

Feeding the Ducks

Bolivar has such a great park and my boys love harassing the ducks (aka feeding them).

First Swim of the Season

Luckily our neighbor has a pool and they are willing to share otherwise we would be missing our pool on a big way!
